In this episode, I talk to Josh Stryde, elite OCR competitor and author of the book Nutrition for the OCR Athlete: Laying out the details and strategies to help remove the guess work from your diet.

We start out talking about the Paleo diet and being a fat adapted endurance athlete. We move on to talking about eating the appropriate foods to build glycogen for longer races and what's best to eat for races like World's Toughest Mudder. We also cover goal setting and how to plan your meals to meet your goals, how you should ease into a new meal plan or diet, how to break through a plateau and research-based nutrition vs. current fads.

Josh goes on to talk about how sleep plays into your weight loss and training. and a good rule of thumb for the amount of water you should be consuming on an average day.
